Fred Gibbs
President & CEO

Fred has over 20 years of banking experience that includes expertise in retail banking, commercial and corporate lending and real estate investment banking. His career began with Citizens & Southern Bank (later known as NationsBank) in Spartanburg, SC and includes being relocated to Washington, DC and Charlotte, NC. Prior to launching Banc Capital he served as division president for a local bank. Fred's expertise in portfolio management, commercial lending, commercial real estate lending, business development, loan participations and syndications have been instrumental in adding value to clients served.

A Wofford College graduate, with a B.A. in Business Economics, he is active in the community serving on the following boards and committees: Wofford College Board of Trustee, City of Spartanburg Investment Oversight Committee, Business Carolina, Inc., South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, the Mary Black Foundation Board of Trustee, Treasurer and the Spartanburg Regional Healthcare Foundation Trustee. He is also completing his final year as a Liberty Fellow (Class of 2008).

Barbara Lance
Vice President

Barbara oversees the daily operations and administration of Banc Capital. She has worked closely with Fred for over 10 years as a trusted associate. With over 26 years of banking experience, she has expertise in implementing operating efficiencies, coordinating large and small commercial real estate loans, excellent administrative skills and has contributed greatly to Banc Capital's success.

Linda Gibbs
Manager, Loan Operations

Linda oversees the company's loan operations department. Her responsibilities include ensuring that Banc Capital's growing loan servicing portfolio maintains the highest level of compliance. Also, ensuring that borrower statements and remittances are timely and accurate are imperative. Linda also provides support to the Banc Capital Small Business Centers. She received her BA Degree from Anderson College.

Brandon Ellis

Brandon joined Banc Capital as an intern after graduating from the University of South Carolina, Darla Moore School of Business with a BS in Business Administration. With a major in corporate finance, Brandon has extensive study and project experience in portfolio management, debt & equity financing and portfolio management. As an intern, Brandon completed a series of projects including marketing, business development and financial analysis. He has completed numerous training and course instruction and recently completed the Community Bankers Association of Georgia Commercial Lending School. A current member of Leadership Spartanburg, Brandon is very active in the community. His primary focus is business development, loan origination and office manager of Banc Capital Small Business Center.

Rich Proctor

Rich is a 1993 Wofford College graduate with a BS in Psychology. Rich has over 13 years experience in finance, banking and mortgage lending. Rich utilizes his outstanding business development skills primarily in the small balance commercial market. With a wealth of business relationships, Rich works closely with Fred in several other areas of the company which include marketing, business development and strategic growth initiatives.
